Need to replace the telescopic handle on your Monos suitcase? Follow these simple written instructions to replace a broken wheel. You will need either a Torx 20, Phillips, or Allen screwdriver for this repair:
-
Prepare your suitcase
Open your suitcase and lay it flat for easy access. -
Access the interior lining
Unzip the lining on the side with the broken wheel(s). If there is tape covering the screws, carefully remove it and set the tape aside. -
Remove the damaged wheel
Using the appropriate screwdriver, unscrew all screws securing the damaged wheel. Once all screws are removed, take the damaged wheel off from the exterior of the suitcase. -
Position the new wheel
Slide the replacement wheel into place. If the new wheel has a different number of screw holes, don’t worry—four screws will align properly with the suitcase. -
Secure the new wheel
Line up the screws with the wheel’s screw holes and tighten them securely using your screwdriver. -
Close the lining
Cover the screws with the tape you set aside earlier (if applicable) and zip the interior lining closed.
Your Monos suitcase is now ready to roll!
